Old Town Scottsdale Couples Lifestyle Shoot | Carson & Amber

This Old Town Scottsdale lifestyle photoshoot was a lot of fun. Amber & Carson requested some photos to represent their real estate company, Original Realty Co., of them just having a good time around town.

They rolled up in their vintage Bronco which was great to start our shoot with. I rarely (never) use cars in photoshoots, so this was something different for me. They turned out being some of my favorites from the shoot! (^This photo of them in front of the car with the purple sky is my #1.)

Even though we were chasing the light at the end of the day, we managed to get so much variety in just an hour. You can walk down any street in Old Town Scottsdale and there’s something new to shoot with.

We discovered a beautiful bright-colored cactus mural to use, some really adorable Halloween decorations, and some string lights hanging above the street, along with lots more that we just didn’t have time to shoot with!

Personally, I usually lean towards shooting in nature most of the time. But this shoot reminded me how much beauty can be created in more urban settings as well. Although, at the end we took some photos with mountains anyway, haha. And we were treated to a breathtaking purple sky for the last shots of the night, so nature still found it’s way in! That’s one thing I love about living in Arizona, almost everywhere you go you can be treated to a mountain view or a dramatically colored sunset.
